FluidState Consulting, is a Vermont-based water quality consulting Limited Liability Company (LLC) specializing in stormwater management solutions for analysis, modeling, planning, and design, drone-based mapping to obtain high-resolution aerial imagery and topography for project planning, design, and construction tracking, public education and outreach using a variety of media such as podcasts, illustrations, and presentations for water quality-related issues, and Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) services for permit compliance.

Dana Allen, FluidState’s Principal, has nearly a decade of academic and consulting experience with water quality issues and stormwater in Vermont and elsewhere.

In addition to his work with water, Dana is a published outdoor photographer and writer for backcountry skiing and mountain biking, has served as Board President of the Waterbury Area Trails Alliance (and Vermont Mountain Bike Association chapter), and enjoys being outdoors. He lives in Waterbury, VT.
